Noah Herrera #10 Ms. Stronks ELA 8 Tuesday, November 17, 2015 The Fire We smelled the fire before we saw the flames. The whole kitchen was filled with smoke, until we saw a spark, which meant FIRE! "What do we do" said Michael, and I responded "Run!" So, we ran to the front door to get out, but the door caught on fire. So now, we were trapped with no help, no firefighters, and no phones to call anyone, so this meant that we were on our own. My good friend Devin, a junior at Stanford, thought quick on his feet and came back with a water bucket, to try and put out the fire on the door with the water bucket. Eventually, we had a hard time breathing with all the fire and the smoke, so all together, we kicked the door, and it fell over. We finally got out, but all of us realized that Michael's brother was still stuck between the door, so I rushed to get him, but I received an unusual surprise. I was hallucinating and instead of seeing Bryan Jimenez, it was a grenade, so with all of my might, I threw the grenade, and it exploded in thin air. After everybody was okay, we hurried up to the fire station, because all of our phones were melted in the fire. So, the firemen put out the fire and the person who was responsible for the fire wasn't a person, but it was Larry the fat cat.
